The brief
A respected junior academy had three aging courts whose turf was past its competitive life and whose lighting no longer met training standards. They needed minimum downtime: every day off the schedule costs lessons and pro contracts.
What we did
- Sequenced the retrofit court-by-court so two courts stayed playable throughout the project.
- Replaced 12mm turf and sand fill on all three courts with a faster surface tuned to the academy's training philosophy.
- Upgraded to 600 lux tournament LEDs and added independent dimming per court for video sessions.
- Refreshed glass panels and netting — the cosmetic upgrade members notice on day one.
Outcome
Delivered in 38 days from contract to handover. The academy reopened all three courts in the same week without losing a single training session on the cleared courts.
